Job Description – Office Processing Specialist

Reports To: Plant Manager
Based From:  Denfield, Ontario

We are seeking a highly organized individual who is interested in playing a key role in providing our customers with a seamless experience while working hand in hand with production and logistics to capitalize on internal efficiencies.  Reporting to the Customer Service & Dispatch Manager, our Office Processing Specialists are responsible for building relationships with customers, outside sales, and for proactively seeking out customer orders.

 

Skills/Core Competencies

  • Take phone orders for all species
  • Ability to proactively forecast feed orders and expected delivery dates
  • Manage automated feeding programs and standing orders, apply for veterinary prescriptions, coordinate with sales rep and production staff
  • Complete office filing
  • Support of Feed Assure program as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of OSSD, post-secondary education would be preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 Years of experience in customer service
  • Agricultural background is preferable, with a working knowledge of medication and the MIB
  • Strong Computer and Typing Skills, particularly MS Office
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Demonstrate applicable ethics and due diligence.
  • Manage time effectively.
  • Effective attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy.
